Ibrahim Ovakachi

Omeiza graduated from Kogi State University, Anyigba, Kogi State where he obtained his LL.B (Hons). He thereafter proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Abuja campus, and obtained his BL. He holds LLM in International Law at Nasarawa State University.

Omeiza is a Principal Partner at Ellalov Solicitors and has deep experience in several areas of practice including but not limited to civil law, criminal law, commercial law, International Law and Diplomacy, company law, matters touching on litigations both at trial and appellate levels.

Omeiza is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the International Bar Association.

• He has actively participated and has been handling election matters since 2015 till date. He was part of the team of the Petitioners in the Presidential election petition in 2019.
• Handled some matters in action relating to trespass and declaration of title to land, recovery of premises, and other property related disputes.
• Instituted and prosecuted Enforcement of Fundamental Human Rights cases
• Handled cases of Cyber Crime, Forex related cases, cases of Theft, Criminal Breach of Trust and Cheating, Negligence of Duty, Screening an Offender among others.
• Prepared documents for property transactions such as, Deed of Assignment, Power of Attorney, Tenancy Agreement, Deed of Legal Legal Mortgage, Contingency and Agency Agreement, and host of others.
• Carried out due diligence in several property transactions by conducting legal searches at the Abuja Geographical Information System (AGIS) and registration of interest and title documents.
• Prepared pre-incorporation contracts and agreements for local and multinational companies.
• Handled the incorporation of several companies, incorporation of business names as well as Incorporation of Trustees.
• Handled post-incorporation matters touching on corporate searches, preparation and filling of Annual Returns, processing and obtaining CTC of incorporation documents and had done a lot of corporate restructuring etc.
